The Role
MSM Higher Ed is looking for a result oriented Senior Student Recruitment & Training Sales Executive with a demonstrated track record for leading and motivating a success driven and results oriented sales team. This position is responsible for business growth and profitability. The incumbent reports to the President, MSM Higher Ed and works closely with colleagues working on location and remotely.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop a student recruitment plan to attract domestic and local international students to one or more MSM Higher Ed managed College brands.
- Build and manage an effective team of student recruiters and training sales force who are driven by the challenge of ambitious goals and achieving sales targets.
- Collaborate with marketing and communications to create the sales tools and resources necessary for the recruitment and sales team.
- Analyse industry trends and recommend program and service enhancements that will improve College/Centre profitability.
- Build rapport with local intermediaries who are a source of international students.
- Build a persuasive recruitment strategy and approach to attract domestic students who are seeking career related programs and skills training.
- Establish and cultivate relationships with funding agencies who provide support for career and skills training or retraining programs.
- Cultivate relationships with business and industry to ensure a continuous flow of corporate education and training sales.
- Identify promising prospects through cold – calling, networking and customer referrals.
- Ensure that recruitment, admission and contract training processes are implemented smoothly.
- Maintain accurate student related sales records, potential and existing students and clients as well as sales associates’ performance and sales reports for management.
- Assess student and client satisfaction and make recommendations where appropriate to achieve or improve levels of satisfaction.
- Analyse sales metrics to determine the effectiveness of sales strategies.
- Conduct in-depth competitor analysis with respect to programs, pricing and market success to gain insight into student/client preferences and interests.
- Collaborate with colleagues in a professional manner.
- Other responsibilities consistent with student recruitment and training sales.
Who We Are Looking For:
- Undergraduate degree in business management or administration, marketing, communications, or a related field.
- Proven sales management experience and success.
- Demonstrated track record for setting ambition targets and achieving them.
- Technology proficient including comfort utilizing Google Suite platform software, customer relationship management (CRM) software and apps for multiple purposes including communications.
- Proven track record planning social media campaigns to the drive sales leads to sales associate.
- Familiarity with post-secondary education or education sales is an asset but not required.
